I feel like a total idiot now. The main reason that I went ahead and took down the board was becuse I thought that a few other sites already had everything up.

Unfortunately, this apparently isn't the case, as the sites have either gone down, not updated in a long time, or converted entirely to the new Star Trek movie.

This means, I really screwed up. I wasn't intending to 'burn down the net' or anything, and just wanted to retire from hosting Jaynz... so now I have to figure out what I'm going to need to do in the meantime.

I'll be putting a few PDF files up as I figure out which versions should be considered 'final' in the next couple of days. I have no idea what to do about the galleries, though.

Seems like I'm slowly redoing taking this all down, doesn't it? I'll definately have to rethink the gallery soon.

I put up some of the "Cage" version ships in order for hotlinks to work. This includes the Constitution, Hermes, Saladin, Pompey, Diana, Loknar, and Victory classes.

It's not pretty, but I put the ADB directory back up in images, which should make some of the other pictures work on sites that link to them. Again, still not exactly sure what to do about the gallery just yet. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where I'm at with things.

Today is mostly an organization pass, moving files around and getting rid of some duplicates. I needed to do this even before deciding to close down the site, so no big deal. Sadly, not a lot of fun for anyone visiting, of course.

Nothing huge today, just more gallery image cleanup from the master site, and eliminating a large number of duplicate images.

Well, there's no way around it.. if I try to just salvage everything, nothing is ever going to get done. Rather than chase my tail, I'm going to focus on a long overdue project, the 'redo' of Jaynz #1. This does include some salvage, obviously, but not nearly as much as trying to do everything all at once. Progress is below:

One of the most endearing aspects of Trek Technology fandom is the book that started it all, the Star Trek Technical Manual. I've made a couple of small guides before based on the ships appearing within it, and I'm taking one more pass at the guide for my own purposes. When done, this will be released as a Jaynz guide, though not a 'canon' one (explanation will appear)... hopefully in only a few days.
